The trainer was extremely personable and explained everything in a way that it could be understood. I felt very comfortable to ask any questions big or small as she was very welcoming.

The course was very insightful, and I gained a lot of knowledge from taking part. The trainer was extremely knowledgeable and incredibly helpful in answering any questions provided. The course was fun to learn about and I felt the way the information was presented was easy to understand but also generated conversation which meant we were thinking throughout. The final example was a great way of applying the knowledge from the course and a really good example of how tricky it can be but also was very interesting in hearing the other opinions to challenge our own thoughts. A very good course.

I thought the training was very good. It was clear and logical. The trainer was very knowledgeable, approachable and friendly, which makes it easy to stop and ask questions or to clarify a point. I was particularly impressed by his explanation of why we need to be mindful of the language we use and what the standard is actually asking for; most of it is common sense, but understanding what it actually means and what is required is key, so that really resonated with me.

I am very satisfied with the training. It was very practical, and the trainer gave excellent real-life examples. I feel this training will help me a lot in the future.

I really enjoyed the course and thought it was led brilliantly. The trainer was a great tutor and clearly well experienced with a vast knowledge of the subject matter. The administration was also particularly impressive, I have not had such a good experience with this before on other courses I've attended. The information and course materials were shared immediately as and when needed and any questions were responded to with haste. URM seems like a great company, and I would definitely recommend doing a course with them.

I had a really good experience with URM so thank you for everything. I took my exam late on Friday evening and passed, so please pass my thanks onto the trainer as I obviously couldn’t have done that without his expert tutoring! I liked the half-day format. Oftentimes full day sessions for a week can be quite onerous but this broke it up which I liked. I feel as though the sessions met my expectations, I'm not sure what it could have done to exceed them.

The experience of the trainer cannot be bought, he shared a lot of practical scenarios which happens on everyday activity at work. Thanks you’re a STAR.

The trainer added colour to a dry topic with his experiences.

I've read up on encryption in the past and how it is used in data transfers but never quite understood it. The way in which the tutor built it up and explained it was the best I’ve seen so far and finally helped it ‘click’ for me.

The level of detail and how that information was put across clearly by our instructor in multiple session was above what I was expecting, the way he was able to utilise his industry experience to give real world examples also helped further my understanding of the topics raised above that that I expected.

There is a lot of content that has to be covered and having the morning to be taught and the afternoon to digest worked really well for me.

I think the course length for a remote training event is about right - the last two days are lighter, which I think is appreciated. Plenty of opportunity for discussion around the topics.

I found the sessions very easy to follow and informative - not complex and easy to understand, even though I have limited technical knowledge. Session 2 on Risk was very in-depth and fully explained all the steps in regard to risk, what it means and why it is important. The tutor was very friendly and helpful, and very engaging!

Enjoyed the redacting exercise at the end, which was interesting to see how people would redact the information differently I found this really useful to apply to SARs I might receive going forward, and that it's down to interpretation.

The trainer was great, came across as energetic and positive (which helps, especially when undertaking an online learning course). The content was great and provided real life examples which was useful as it helped to apply the learning.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course and most of that was down to the trainer’s delivery of the course syllabus. The depth of general knowledge delivered by him on top of the detailed course material with reference to real-world experience was outstanding. The course delivery exceeded my expectations and I am really pleased I went with URM as this course provider. Will definitely will be using URM again for future courses.

In these different times I was expecting a hard press course timetable but it really worked well. The exercises at the end of each day hit the mark.
